Rolf Kjærgaard: Sustainability is Essential to Vækstfonden’s Investments

Rolf Kjærgaard, CEO of Vækstfonden, states that the green agenda is high on the list when Vækstfonden makes decisions on where to investment its funds. This is prioritized partly due to the mandates given to Vækstfonden to accelerate the green transition but also because Vækstfonden is of the belief that the companies of the future, across sectors and geography, are green.

The focus on green companies can be seen in Vækstfondens investments in companies such as Too-Good-To-Go, an app which fights food waste, and vertical farming. In connection with the launch of Denmark’s Green Investment Fund (DGI), Vækstfonden and DGI was given a mandate to invest an amount up to DKK 10 billion in green companies.
