Vækstfonden: Numbers Show Great Start to 2021 for Venture Investments in Danish Startups

VC deal activity in Danish startups is showing great numbers in Q1 2021 compared to Q1 2020 which was marked by uncertainty due to COVID-19.

Danish startups attracted 19 venture investments in the first quarter of 2021 where DKK 2.5 billion in total was invested into Danish-based startups. The number of investments is on the same level as previous years, except for 2020 where the total number in Q1 was 11.

According to new numbers from Vækstfonden, the Food and AgTech startups is especially doing well at the moment.
