Based on discussions with founders, fund managers, business angels and other players in the Danish startup ecosystem, we have conducted a small analysis on fundraising trends in the light of COVID-19 as well an analysis on the existing support packages with a specific focus on the startup ecosystem. The conclusion is (not surprisingly) that the existing support packages in Denmark, contrary to other countries, do not help startups with their main challenges: Funding of development and growth. We hope and expect that support packages designed for startups will soon be adopted.
