- 801 funds raised EUR 170bn during the year, the second highest number of funds since 2008, and the highest monetary amount ever recorded.
- This includes EUR 23bn raised by 343 venture capital funds, of which 81 were first-time funds.

- 5,435 companies received a venture investment, reaching EUR 18bn invested in venture capital, equaling almost 50% more than the average of the past five years.
